SCOPE & LIMITATIONS

Effective date: 24 August 2026

Educational scope, professional boundaries and safe use of Somber.

EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE

Somber provides general Structured Rebuilding™ education, tools and products designed to help people notice what is happening, identify a useful starting point, practise a response and review real-world evidence.

NOT CLINICAL OR PROFESSIONAL CARE

Somber content is not diagnosis, treatment, therapy, counselling, crisis support, medical advice, legal advice or financial advice. A framework, worksheet, prompt, questionnaire or suggested action does not replace personalised assessment by an appropriately qualified professional.

PERSONAL SUITABILITY

A Somber tool or product may not be suitable for every person, circumstance or stage of rebuilding. Consider your current capacity, safety, responsibilities and available support. Stop or modify an activity if it creates unreasonable distress, risk or impairment.

DECISIONS AND ACTIONS

Prompts are invitations to consider options, not instructions to take a particular action. Do not use a Somber tool or product to justify unsafe, unlawful, retaliatory or high-risk conduct. Seek appropriate advice before making consequential health, legal, financial, housing, employment or relationship decisions.

URGENT SUPPORT

Somber is not an emergency or crisis-response service, and customer channels are not continuously monitored. If you or another person may be in immediate danger or need urgent assistance, call 000 in Australia or the appropriate service in your location.

RESULTS

Somber does not promise a particular result. Progress may be uneven, and a useful next step can include continuing, deepening, shifting focus, reassessing or seeking outside support.

CONSUMER RIGHTS

This disclaimer does not exclude, restrict or modify any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
