What are First Steps™?

First Steps™ is Somber’s focused entry collection. Each toolkit works with one Pillar and one current priority. The six First Steps™ products are available as a Digital PDF for A$4.95 or Printed Paper for A$9.95. Postage is calculated at checkout for printed orders.

Do I have to buy something after Find Your Starting Point™?

No. Your result is a starting point, not a sales requirement. You may use the suggested tool, continue something that already works, explore the Pillar first or seek another form of support.

Does Find Your Starting Point™ diagnose me?

No. It is a practical routing tool, not a diagnostic or clinical assessment.

What if my result does not feel right?

Use your judgement. Read the relevant Pillar, consider what actually needs attention and reassess if circumstances change.

How do the Digital PDF and Printed Paper formats differ?

The Digital PDF is delivered electronically and can be typed into where supported or printed at home. Printed Paper is a prepared physical copy supplied on A4 paper and shipped to you.

How soon do I receive the Digital PDF?

Digital delivery will usually begin shortly after successful payment. Depending on the delivery method, access may appear on the order-confirmation page, by email or through another electronic method shown at purchase. If it does not arrive, check spam or junk folders and then contact Somber with your order number and purchasing email.

How does Printed Paper work?

Printed Paper is prepared to order in Australia. The A$9.95 price includes A$5.00 for printing and preparation. Postage is calculated at checkout. Preparation time is separate from the carrier’s delivery time, and order updates will provide the relevant fulfilment information.

Where do you currently ship Printed Paper?

Physical shipping is currently available to Australian delivery addresses.

What do I need to use a Digital PDF?

You need a device and compatible PDF software that can open the supplied file. Where a PDF supports typed fields, you can complete it digitally; you can also print the A4 pages and write on them by hand.

Can I share a digital product?

Unless a product says otherwise, digital purchases are for the purchaser’s personal, non-commercial use and should not be redistributed. See the Digital Product Personal-Use Licence.

Is Somber therapy or professional advice?

No. Somber provides practical education and self-guided tools. It does not provide therapy, diagnosis, crisis support, medical advice, legal advice or personalised financial advice.

What if I need more support?
